Throughout the Trap Shooting Season, many APTA shooters travel all over Canada and the U.S. to represent the Atlantic Provinces at many of the largest organized Trap Shoots.

Twenty shooters from the Atlantic Provinces competed in the 2014 Canadian Trap Championships in Montreal QC, with several shooters winning awards and earning yardage during Canada's national trapshooting event.
Highlights for AP Shooters:
- The 2014 Handicap Champion is Doug Blades from Nova Scotia. Doug also won the High All Around title.
- Troy Coldwell of Newfoundland and Labrador walked away with the Canadian Open Singles and Open Doubles titles after wining a shoot off for both.
- John (Jack) Nicolle of New Brunswick walked away with 2 Handicap Titles earning him 2 yards for his excellent shooting.
