Happy New Year from the Atlantic Provinces.

If you haven’t already done so, it’s time to start thinking about your club’s 2021 ATA schedule. Registered shoot and league applications are available on www.shootata.com and should be forwarded to APTA Secretary Janaya Nickerson, for approval. Janaya’s contact info is available on www.shootatlantic.com.

The 2021 Atlantic Provinces ATA Provincial Shoot returns to the Highland Gun Club near Yarmouth, Nova Scotia September 2-5, 2021. If you like seafood, picturesque landscapes and want to experience a great shoot and friendly east coast hospitality, then this is the shoot for you. Stay tuned to our website for a shoot program and more shoot details in the coming months.

Some key Canadian shoot dates have also been established and are listed on the Canadian Trapshooting Association’s webpage - www.shootcanada.ca. You’ll find a list of all Canadian ATA Provincial Shoot dates and some of the larger shoots being held across Canada. Our national shoot, the 2021 Canadian Trapshooting Championships, is scheduled for June 23-27, 2021 at the Edmonton Gun Club in Edmonton, Alberta. A shoot program will be available early in the new year.

Tickets for the 2021 ATA Gun Club Fund Gun Raffle are now available. Tickets are $20 US and proceeds go back to ATA gun clubs through grants awarded from the ATA Gun Club Fund. I have a limited number of tickets available if you would like to support this great gun club funding program from the ATA. Tickets can also be purchased by contacting the ATA office.
