Trap and Field's Around the ATA article from the Atlantic Provinces ATA Delegate

Hello from the Atlantic Provinces.
It has been a busy summer for trapshooters across Canada so far. Quebec held their ATA Provincial Shoot June 24-26 at the Club de tir de Valleyfield and the Calgary Firearms Centre in Calgary, Alberta just hosted a very successful and well-attended Canadian Trapshooting Championships June 29-July 3. The Alberta Trapshooting Association held their ATA Provincial Shoot July 20-24 at the Edmonton Gun Club and the Saskatchewan ATA Provincial Shoot was July 14-17 at the Regina Trap and Skeet Club.
Upcoming ATA Provincial Shoots include the Ontario shoot July 28-21, the British Columbia shoot at the Vancouver Gun Club August 20-21 and the Manitoba shoot August 26-28 at the Winnipeg Trap and Skeet Club. The last of the 2022 ATA Provincial Shoots is the Atlantic Provinces shoot scheduled for September 1-4 at the St. John’s Rod and Gun Club in St. John’s, Newfoundland and Labrador.

Atlantic Provinces shooters Aubrey Spinney, Ken d’Eon, Garry Nickerson and Gerritt van Raalte attended the 2022 Quebec ATA Provincial Shoot. Aubrey Spinney from Argyle, Nova Scotia won the non-resident Singles Runner-up with a 193 and the non-resident Handicap Champion with a 97 matching Quebec’s Jake Levin Handicap Champion score. Congratulations Aubrey. Good shooting!
